Like many of you out there I had to, at times, “fake it ‘til I was making it.”
More than a decade ago, I dropped out of a PhD program to jump headlong into the wonderful world of alcohol beverage sales.
Then there was the time I switched from retail to selling for a distributor. I focused on selling wine and craft beer. Another time I worked hard to gain expertise in craft spirits. Later, I moved into the supplier world.
Each change brought different challenges and presented new terms.
But really, this site is all because I learned the hard way. So you don’t have to.
It’s about easier access to some of the fun, odd, and downright idiosyncratic ways alcohol beverage sales run in this country. As they say, there’s no other three-tier system like it.
